Speech and Language Therapy Christchurch

Speech and Language Therapy is run by Jo Byrne. Jo is an experienced specialist speech language therapist with over twenty years experience working with children and young people with disabilities, neurodiverse children and young people, and those with complex communication needs.   Jo currently works in a special school setting and carries a small private caseload. Jo has always worked with infants, children and young people with disabilities, alongside their family and whanau.  Jo also works as a Court appointed Communication Assistant.

Jo has extensive experience with users of augmentative and alternative communication both low and high tech. she maintains current knowledge in her areas of expertise.  She is an expert in AAC.  Jo is an accredited assessor for the Ministry of Health.
