Covid Information
Services will adapt to the traffic light settings and client needs and preferences:
Pre appointment checks
On the day before or the day of your appointment we will ask you some health questions - we will text these to you. If there are any risk factors noted we will have to reschedule the appointment or do a teletherapy session if appropriate. There is no charge for a cancellation due to illness under our COVID traffic light system.
We may have to cancel if staff are experiencing illness or isolating. You can request telepractise (using Zoom or similar at any stage). Your first telepractise session will be free - you can then decide if this mode of therapy suits you and your whanau
Physical appointments
At inperson appointments clients will be invited to use sterilising gel, and scan in using our QR code.
Vaccine Passes
Our staff are fully vaccinated. We will check client vaccine passes. You can still receive health and disability services if unvaccinated.
Masking
Staff will be masked during in person visits. Staff will use a clean mask with every client. Note you do not have to wear a mask if:
- you need to communicate with someone who is deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind or has a disability which makes it hard to have effective communication
